When Satan Attacks

Attacks from Satan come in all forms. They come in subtle ways and in large hail storms. They come from family, friends, and circumstances. Sometimes we can't see God through the storm that we are walking in and we doubt him and his Goodness. God is always good!! Let me repeat that, God is always good! He works on our behalf and in our behalf. The things we are walking through are for our growing faith. He is wanting us to stretch and grow to the next phase of our walk. Sometimes the walk is through a dark forrest and sometimes it is in a low low valley. While we are walking through life's circumstances, if we are not in the word and speaking scripture than the devil starts to have a hay day in your lives and our emotions. It says in scripture 1 Peter 4: 12-19
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

15But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

As we are walking in the Spritual Trial, we have to realize that the attack is not coming from the person it is coming from the devil. They are being used by him. As long as we are doing God's work and in his will for our life. Satan will be on attack. He does not want his kingdom and his word spread to anyone! He knows that his time is short and that anything we do for the Kingdo of God puts a hurt on him. We as Christians need to be ferverent about spreading the gospel. Not just inside our churches but outside to the lost. The salvation of Christ is not just for our well being and we were not worthy to have his salvation and grace subjected to just us. It is available and able to be poured out to anyone! Are we doing everything we can to spread the Gospel for Jesus Christ?

My Blessings

I am free to be me!!

One of my favorite songs is Free to be Me by Francesca Battistelli.  It is a song that talks about me being free in Christ to be whom he created me to be.  Not how he created anyone else on the earth.  He takes joy in all my strange quirks and wierd ways that I am. He knows that he can turn my quirks into a great witness for him.  He can use me to touch someone in a way that no other person will be able to. I read a poem entitled My Identity in Christ.  It says so much about us as a person and exactly how the King of Kings feels about who he made.  I hope you enjoying reading it.  Remember be Free in Christ Jesus!!
My Identity in Christ
Because of Christ's redemption, I am a new creation of great worth.
I am deeply loved, completely forgiven, fully pleasing, totally accepted by God,
and absoluetly complete in Christ. There has never been another person like me,
in the history of mankind, nor will there ever be.  God has made me an original, one of a kind,
really SOMEBODY!!!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you can say that it is a "Happy" New Year even though last year might have been hard for you.  Don't forget that my God is good and he has great blessings in store for you this year.  I am sooooo excited about 2011!  I don't really know why, other than the fact that I serve a great God and he only has the best in store for me.  Wow! That takes my breath away. Even if no one else would have been born on the Earth but you Christ still would have made the ultimate sacrifice for just you.
Let's remember in this coming year to encourage our sista's.  Sometimes we get caught up in our everyday lives and forget that if we just speak one word of encouragement to someone it could totally change their day.  Remember what God says in his word
1 Thessalonians 5:11
“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” (NLT)
